CA6 Sixth Form Students Celebrate A Level Results and University Success
Staff and students at CA6 (formerly Consett Academy Sixth Form) are celebrating an amazing year of A Level success, with many students securing places at their choice of universities following the release of this summer’s exam results.

This year’s cohort has demonstrated exceptional resilience, ambition, and academic excellence, with many students gaining entry to prestigious institutions including, Durham University, York University and Northumbria University.
Head Teacher, Tom Urwin praised the students’ achievements:
"We are incredibly proud of our students. These results reflect not only their hard work and determination, but also the dedication of our teaching staff and the support of families. It’s inspiring to see so many young people that have spent 7 years with us heading off to study subjects they’re passionate about at universities they’ve dreamed of attending."
While academic results are a key milestone, CA6 also celebrates the personal growth, leadership, and community contributions of its students. Many have taken part in enrichment programmes, volunteering, and work experience that have shaped their university applications and future aspirations.
With applications for next year already underway, CA6 continues to offer a dynamic and supportive environment for students aiming high. Open evenings and taster sessions will be held this autumn for prospective students and families. Find out more on their website, www. consett-academy.org.uk
